We met a year and a half ago at a restaurant on Sunset Boulevard, where what was meant to be a simple dinner turned into closing the place down. From the very beginning, conversation, laughter, and a sense of peace flowed effortlessly. We could be playful, yet also open and genuine about what we were looking for, and it felt like we had known each other far longer than just a few hours.

We quickly discovered how beautifully our similarities and differences fit together. We share so many values and experiences, like being raised by parents whose marriages have been lifelong examples of love, each having a sibling close in age, growing up surrounded by Jewish traditions, and holding deep connections to our families and the city of Los Angeles. We even shared the unique bond of both working at Amazon, which gave us an instant understanding of each other’s careers and day-to-day lives.

From that very first date, we’ve never stopped talking, laughing, and soaking up every moment together. Whether traveling, going to the movies, wandering the farmer’s market, enjoying live music, house hunting, or simply sharing a meal, we are happiest just being by each other’s side.
